Planned Features
We plan to extend the CipherCell Configurator with different features, which are planed or currently already under development:
GUI Integration
We are currently investigating the feature adding a graphical user interface which offers the following features:
- Visual configuration of the testbed components and parameters
- Real-time monitoring of component status and logs
- Interactive control of the testbed (e.g., start/stop components)
- Further integration within out security ecosystem for to directly test security features and attacks from the GUI.
The animations below demonstrate the current prototype. The first visual highlights the central dashboard monitoring various components, while the second demonstrates the build process for individual modules.
-
Configuration
The animation below demonstrates the configuration dashboard. This view provides an overview of the different components and allows you to set all parameters, including those that can also be configured via YAML.
-
Visual Build Process
The following demo illustrates how individual components are built and configured interactively from the GUI.
Further features currently under investigation
- Real Hardware Support: Integration with physical equipment and specific support for Open Air Interface (OAI).
- Traffic Capture Endpoints: We are refining our component implementations to include specific endpoint definitions. This will allow for automated and easy-to-configure traffic capture (PCAP) at designated points in the network.
